Tracey Brenner is Founder and President of Wolfsdorf Brenner, Incorporated, a firm created to deliver negotiation and conflict management training and advising to technology-driven and technology-affected individuals, organizations, and groups.
A Ph.D. scientist and Harvard trained mediator, Dr. Brenner integrates technology and conflict management expertise to help individuals and institutions resolve conflict and negotiate effectively. Dr. Brenner co-developed and taught the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School's first “Technology Negotiation” executive education seminars. She has served in the Massachusetts District Courts, and trained students and community members for the Harvard Mediation Program. Additionally, she serves on the national SRA roster for conflict management.
Prior to her work as a consultant and mediator, Dr. Brenner gained over 10 years experience in academic, governmental and industrial organizations in research, development, and manufacturing. In scientific and manager/technology director roles, Dr. Brenner participated in technology transfer initiatives, developed new technologies and programs, established inter and intra-organizational partnerships, negotiated complex agreements, and created consensus around contentious issues – including health and human safety in the workplace.
Dr. Brenner holds Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University, and B.S.E (materials) and B.A. (physics) degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Brenner has worked with organizations such as Argonne National Laboratories, NASA, Digital Equipment Corporation, Intel, and Kopin Corporation. She has presented her peer reviewed publications at institutions including UCLA, Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Columbia University.
