Dr. Hansen leads the Technology Management Program and is Co-director of the Graduate Program in Management Practice. He is an expert in the fields of corporate strategy and entrepreneurship. He earned his MBA and PhD from the University of Michigan and was a professor in the School of Business at the University of Washington. Dr. Hansen has served on the boards of early stage companies, consulted with Microsoft, Boeing, E&Y, and other leading companies, served as Vice President for a an early stage IPO company, held leadership positions in the Office of the Secretary, Department of Commerce and the Cost of Living Council, and was selected as "E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year".
