Dr. Seibold is Professor and immediate past Chair, Department
of Communication, and Co-Director of the Graduate Program
in Management Practice. Author of
more than 100 scholarly publications
and 250 conference papers on
organizational communication,
innovation and organizational change, group
processes, and interpersonal influence, he is
a Distinguished Scholar of the National
Communication Association and recipient of
numerous research and teaching awards. Past
Editor of the Journal of Applied Communication
Research and member of the editorial boards of
numerous journals, he has served on the Board
of Directors of the International Communication
Association. Before coming to UC Santa Barbara,
he was a faculty member at Purdue University
and the University of Illinois at Urbana-
Champaign. Dr. Seibold also has consulted
with more than 100 business, government, and
health organizations.
