David’s 20 years in the biomedical industry includes leadership roles in R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and alliance creation for diagnostics and therapeutics. While at Dako Corporation, he was instrumental in forming the industry’s first predictive diagnostic alliances with leading biopharmaceutical companies for targeted oncology therapies. David is currently Chief Technology Officer at Stellar Biotechnologies Inc., an NIH-funded product-stage company that supplies platform technology for therapeutic vaccines. He is an advisor to Agility Capital LLC of Santa Barbara and the Technology Management Program at UCSB, and a consultant to bioscience companies on matters of strategy, technology development, licensing, and marketing. David earned his Ph.D. in Biology and B.A. in Aquatic Biology from UCSB.
