Doug has 30+ years of experience in Business Development, Marketing and Sales for companies in the Diagnostic Industry (Clinical and Anatomic Pathology Laboratories), Life Science and BioPharma. Currently he is the VP of Marketing and Sales for Celerus Diagnostics, a Goleta, CA based Start-up Company developing a rapid testing system for Anatomic Pathologists. Prior experience includes the following Start-up companies: Ventana Medical Systems, BioPath Corporation and Molecular Devices, as well as Syva, an early stage division of Syntex Corporation. Doug has managed a team of 165 Sales and Marketing professionals at Dako Corporation and Marketing efforts for New England Nuclear and Corning Medical. Doug has also recently consulted for Agilent Technologies, Exagen Diagnostics, HistoRx, BioImagene, Pathworks Diagnostics and Spring BioSystems.
Doug holds a BS in Biology from the University of Oregon and an MBA from the Presidential/Key Executive program at Pepperdine University.
