Mark Turk
Senior Relationship Manager, Silicon Valley Bank
Mentor

Mark Turk is a Senior Relationship Manager at Silicon Valley Bank and manages the Los Angeles regional office.   In this position, Mark provides a wide range of banking products and services to technology companies throughout the Los Angeles area and along the 101 Tech Corridor. Mark has 16 years of commercial banking experience and has been actively involved in financing start-up and emerging growth information technology and life sciences companies located in the southern California region.   He has also worked with a number of middle market and Fortune 500 corporations in a wide range of industries.   In 2002, Mark was named as one of the Top 25 Bankers in the San Fernando Valley. Prior to joining Silicon Valley Bank, Mark was Chief Credit Officer at Pacific Century Bank, a $1.3 billion business bank headquartered in Los Angeles, and was also a Vice President at Wells Fargo Bank and Bank of America.   Prior to banking, Mark worked as an engineer at Allied-Signal Corporation. Mark has an MBA from UCLA's Anderson Graduate School of Management and a BS from Purdue University.   He is a board member and Treasurer of Conejo Simi Aquatics and an advisory board member of the California Coast Venture Forum.   Mark is also a former board member of the Central Coast MIT Forum and the Technology Management Program at UCSB.
