Chief Technology Officer
and Co-founder of Eucalyptus Systems Inc.
Professor of Computer Science, UCSB

Having received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California at Davis (while a researcher at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory) he has also held positions at the University of California, San Diego, and the University of Tennessee. He is currently also a strategic advisor to the San Diego Supercomputer Center and an adjunct faculty member at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

Kevin is the Co-Founder & CEO of Eventbrite and an early-stage investor. He was previously Co-Founder and CEO of Xoom Corporation, an international money transfer company providing remittance services to over 40 countries worldwide. Xoom’s investors include Sequoia Capital, NEA, Fidelity Ventures, Silicon Valley Bank Capital, Stanford University, and Peter Thiel. Kevin previously Co-Founded ConnectGroup, a start-up providing high-speed Internet access to the hotel industry that was acquired in 1998 by LodgeNet (LNET). Kevin has also worked in venture capital as an associate at Outlook Ventures and as a product manager at SGI.

Mike McCueMike McCue
Founder of Tellme - acquired by Microsoft

Starting with simple Web services, Tellme's innovative platform inspired the migration of large-scale phone services from proprietary applications to open standards applications and drove the global adoption of VoiceXML. Today, Tellme's platform handles billions of calls annually for enterprises and carriers nationwide, making it one of the world's largest Internet networks for voice communication.

Before founding Tellme, Mike worked at Netscape as Vice President of Technology. He joined Netscape after their successful acquisition of the first company he founded, Paper Software, a leader in 3-D browser technology. Mike was honored with a Kilby International Award as a Young Innovator for his work bringing 3-D technology to the world through Netscape's Web browser.

Churchill manages PwC's relationships with emerging technology companies, venture capitalists, angel investors, and university technology transfer officers. Randy currently sits on the Executive Committee of the Caltech MIT Enterprise Forum, the Selection Committee for the Entretec PwC Entrepreneurship Award, the Advisory Committee of the Los Angeles Business Technology Center, and the Advisory Board of USC's Center for Technology Commercialization. Randy received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Western Michigan University, cum laude, and his J.D. from Indiana University School of Law, magna cum laude.

Klaus SchauserKlaus Schauser
Chief Strategist, AppFolio

Klaus was Founder and CTO of Expertcity/CitrixOnline from 1999 through 2006. Klaus was the visionary behind GoToMyPC, GoToAssist, and GoToMeeting. Klaus led the technical teams responsible for building these products as well as the teams responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure to securely and reliably operate the products upon. Klaus combines visionary leadership and years of expertise in overseeing technological developments.

As a professor of Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara, Klaus is a widely published research scientist with extensive experience developing scalable, highly parallel computing environments. Klaus holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley and has received numerous academic awards.
