The 11th Annual New Venture Competition gives students an opportunity to learn business skills by developing an idea through the entrepreneurial process. Working in multi-disciplinary teams, they are exposed to marketing, venture capital, intellectual property,  elevator pitches, critical thinking, industry analysis and more.

Students also benefit from this event by increasing their network of  business contacts, sharpening their creativity, obtaining real world resume-building experience, gaining great visibility and competing for more thousands in prizes including:  Most Fundable Idea, Best Pitch, and Best Written Business Plan.
