UCSB students and Bill Grant, Program Manager -- Technology Management Program -- University of California, Santa Barbara, in unfiltered conversation with innovative thinkers, entrepreneurs, and leaders from the national science & technology scene, UCSB science and engineering community, and our central coast new venture community stakeholders.

We will touch lives and ideas: creativity, science, the business of innovation, the role of technology management education, venture creation, understanding social capital, innovative capacity, strategic alliances, organizational development, leadership & ethics, and the building of high value products & services. How can students use their understanding of technology management tools to change the world? We are interested in the nature of the individual journey, the processes that drove the creative development of the individual. We will talk about the enabling moments, teamwork, skills acquired, life experiences to be shared and challenges met.

"On The Edge" Two major interviews weekly, 10-20 minutes each; one‘roundtable’ session with hosts. ‘OnTheEdge’ succeeds as a public affairs program when we engage UCSB students, guests and our community in unfiltered conversation. We seek to challenge pre-conceived notions about technology management in engineering, science, emerging enterprise, and innovation. Our goal is to provide a forum for thoughtful leaders to tell us how their ideas affect our world and to enable our UCSB community to engage those ideas.
