Robert Siegel is a general partner at X/Seed Capital Management with more than 23 years of operating experience in an array of large and small technology companies. Robert is a writer and lectures at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and is the co-inventor on three patents. He serves on the board of multiple start-up companies. Robert earned his BA from UC Berkeley and an MBA from Stanford University.

Dr. Dan Doiron is Managing Partner of La Querencia Partners, an early stage investment partnership. He presently serves on the Board of four technology companies. Previously he was CEO of CrystalVoice Comunications, a company that offers high quality voice over the public, unmanaged Internet. He is a founder of Miravant Medical Technologies, Inc., a public company specializing in photodynamic therapy, Dr. Doiron served as Vice President of Technology of Miravant and President of its subsidiary, PDT Systems from 1989 to 1997. He was also founder and CEO of Laserguide, Inc. from 1984 to 1989. Dr. Doiron is co-founder of the Western Institute for Laser Treatment and Advanced Biomedical Instrumentation in Santa Barbara. He was Board Chairman of the Institute from 1986 to 1996. Dr. Doiron holds both a BS and an MS degree in Nuclear Engineering and a Ph.D. from UCSB in Chemical Engineering. Dr. Doiron graciously gives back to the UCSB community as a mentor.  

Ali Perry is the Vice President of Finance/CFO on the founding team that makes up Inogen Corp. Byron Myers, Ali Perry and Brenton Taylor began their entrepreneurial careers while students at the University of California at Santa Barbara. A personal connection to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) led to a desire to improve patient's lives and the establishment of Inogen. They founded Inogen in 2001 after winning First Place honors in the Center for Entrepreneurship and Engineering Management's (now TMP) 2001 Business Plan Competition. The founders collaborated to build a solid foundation for the business, recruited an experienced management and technical team and secured seed funding.

Davis Brimer is a dedicated founder and CEO of Active Life Technologies, a Santa Barbara based startup that develops scientific instruments and medical devices based on a pioneering technology invented at UC Santa Barbara (UCSB). Davis received his BS in Computer Engineering with a focus in Entrepreneurship in Technology from UCSB. He is a strong supporter of business and entrepreneurship programs both in and around the Santa Barbara community. Davis has been recognized for his dedication and achievements in entrepreneurial endeavors and strives to continue his professional education in every way possible.
