Come celebrate and support new venture creations while listening to some of UC Santa Barbara's most outstanding young entrepreneurs present their business ideas at our 2017 New Venture Finals on Wednesday, May 24th!
The New Venture Finals is the highlight of the Technology Management Program’s New Venture Competition (NVC), an eight-month educational experience and business competition in which student teams compete to develop innovative start-up business plans.
The following six teams will present at the Finals: Collatera, CRYPTIX, Delta Leaf Labs, OrganicMatters, Phanta Field, and Wanderlease.
Parking is available at designated lots for visitors with a permit. We recommend guests park in Lot 22. Visitors must purchase a parking permit from the permit dispenser located in the lot. Permits cost $4.00 after 5pm and permit dispensers accept credit cards or cash, but do not give change. You must display your permit on the dashboard of your vehicle at all times. For additional information about parking on the UC Santa Barbara Campus please visit the TPS Website.
The New Venture Finals is located at Corwin Pavilion. After parking in Lot 22, exit the lot towards the ocean side of the campus. Walk on the straight pathway towards to the ocean side of the campus – you will pass by the Humanities & Social Sciences Building, Counseling & Career Services, and Girvetez Hall. Turn right and walk on the straight pathway towards Corwin Pavilion. There will be a volunteer at a designated location directing you towards the event. This may take 7-10 minutes of walking from the Lot 22 to Corwin Pavilion.
Thank you for your support of UC Santa Barbara's Technology Management Program and our students!
